Combine that with the quite short length of the game (around 90 minutes for your first play through) and it leaves a bitter aftertaste. The presentation is pleasant, but there are long stretches of sewers and caves which are clearly filler material. The voice acting is pretty bad and the dialogue is poorly written. I can't recommend it though as there are many better games out there. It does not have a bonus chapter but if you are trying to get the achievements, one of them is playing the game on expert mode. The game length is fine, takes around three hours, two if you know where to go. I liked that they gave us three different maps, but with the collectibles, you can't go back to the previous map if you have missed any of them. Mini-games are good, but they are the same as all the other games, nothing unique or original. The only good thing about this game are the visuals, the backgrounds and locations are amazing, however, the characters design is lacking. I'd call this game an adventure instead of Hidden objects game since it has very few scenes, five or six of them, they are very well-drawn scenes though. The conversation between the characters is really bad, you don't feel the connection between them at all. The pace of the game is OK, and the artwork is amazing, however, the story is lacking as well as the writing. You play as an unnamed Journalist who was supposed to write a story about this famous singer, Beatrice, and during that show, she was abducted by an illusionist who mysteriously disappeared some time ago. Faces of Illusion: The Twin Phantoms is very mediocre with a below-average story. I decided to play this HOG a little bit too late and I'm kinda regretting it.
